Anne Hieronymus produces hand-sculpted,
one-of-a-kind polymer clay dolls. Below is her creation entitled
"Wintry Morning" which is going up for auction on eBay soon (watch for e-mailed
alerts to those of you on the NHRTL Alert list).

Mother and baby are completely hand sculpted of Cernit clay with hand blown glass eyes and a mohair wig. They have cloth bodies constructed over poseable wire armatures. The pair is seated in a wooden rocking chair and measures 15 inches seated.
After modelling and curing the heads and limbs, the artist uses oil paints and pastel to color them.
The costumes are all one-of-a-kind, hand made by the artist of vintage fabrics.
The piece was especially made for NHRTL as a fundraising promotion and would ordinarily be marketed by "Forever Dolls" shop for $1000. Click here to see another doll by Anne Hieronymus for sale. A certificate of authenticity is available from the artist.
